This chapter conducts short term Quality Improvement Programmes sponsored by the ISTE at the State level and National level. Majority of the staff are Life-Members of this chapter.

• A special meeting on “ISO Awareness Programme” for our staff members was conducted on 18/03/2015. Thiru. M.S.Ravichandran, ISO, Elite Certification Private Ltd., Noida was the resource person.
• Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, Chennai conducted a meeting at Bell hotel on 30/01/2015. Nine of our staff members participated.
• A guest lecture on "Motivation Programme for placement coordinators & Expectations of Industries" was conducted on 29/12/2014. Thiru.R.Rameshkumar,Principal, VSVN Polytechnic college, Virudhunagar and Thiru.A.K.Britto, Placement Officer,Thiruvalluvar Polytechnic College, Elumalai were the resource persons.
• A guest lecture on NET BANKING was conducted on 18/12/2014 by Thiru D.MOSES DANIEL PRABHAHAR, HOD/Mechanical.
• Teachers’ Day was celebrated on 05/09/2014.
• A special lecture on "Feel Teaching" by Thiru.S.Nagendran, Principal, Vinayagar Matriculation Hr.Sec.School, Sivakasi was organized on 28/08/2014 for our staff members.
• A memory enhancing Yoga workshop was conducted for our hostel students on 25/08/2014 & 26/08/2014 by Tmt.Lakshmi, Yoga Teacher, Chennai.
• Introductory class on "Shambhavi Mahamudra" conducted on 08/08/2014 for our staff members. Thiru.T.Venil, Teacher, Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore was the resource person.
• Guest lecture on "Empowering Faculty" conducted on 04/08/2014 for our staff members. Dr.B.Ilango, Former Vice-Chancellor, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore was the resource person.
• Special meeting on "Diabetic Foot Management" conducted on 17/07/2014 for our staff members. Dr.Selwin Julious and Thiru.V.Bharath Kumar, Elite Electro medical Equipments(P)Ltd, Madurai were the resource persons.
• "e-Yantra Project Team" of our college attended the Two-day e-Yantra Workshop on "Introduction to Robotics" at Sona College of Technology, Salem on 23rd and 24th June 2014. Our e-Yantra Project Team members are Mr.L.Murugesan,Instructor/ECE,(Team Leader), Mr.B.Krishna Kumar,HOD/Comp.(Team Member), Mr.J.Francis Xavier Thenraj,Skilled Asst./ECE.(Team Member),Mr.M.Subburaj,Lecturer/Mech.(Team Member)
